Blog time 1030 at Panera

Nancy and Ms P were up at 0600.  Like a slacker I slept in until almost 0700.  Light mist with temperature in mid 50s.

Breakfast and I dressed for a bike ride to Y.  Light drizzle so I drove to the Y.  Calisthenics and 1.2 mile walk.

Drove to Panera.  Today I have a 1300 Doctor’s appointment so no dilly dallying at Panera.

This and that;

POTUS cancels Afghan peace talks with Taliban at Camp David.  The Taliban set off bomb killing American GI.  Cancellation should have been a no brainer.

Did you know that Camp David is maintained by the Navy’s Civil Engineer Corps?  Only the best!

The total devastation in the Bahamas has forced citizens to Florida.

Bad tropical storms are not exclusive to the Atlantic Ocean.  A huge storm (typhoon) has hit Tokyo with extensive damage.

Talk about being two faced!  Hungary has opposed the EU’s policy on immigrants especially from Middle East.  They are trying to wall off their borders.  Hungary’s economy is strong resulting in a big labor shortage.  The Country is importing foreign worker.  Go figure!

Several articles on large out migration of folks leaving SF and LA for smaller out of state cities.  The reasons being living costs, traffic and crime.  In today’s economy their employers let them work remotely.

Got home about 1130.  Kim was still cleaning.  Quick shower and then loaded bike on rack and headed to Ada Bike to get flat tire fixed.

Left directly from Ada to Doctor Santos office.  Dr Santos is an Optical Neurologist.  He is monitoring my MG.  My MG is stable.

Headed back to the bike shop.  They provided me with no reason for flat tire.  Best guess, faulty tube.

Lunch and then a walk followed by apple snack.  Took a short nap.

Light dinner, fixed Nancy her wine and cheese snack.  Took another walk.

It is Monday so we watched a just released episode of My Life Is Murder.
I stayed up and watched a grim French language show about a women serial killer, La Mante.  Last night’s episode took a strange turn.  I am hooked.

A big warm up coming.  Rain and 86 tomorrow.
