Blog time 1048 on Thursday June 6 at Panera (day late)

Ms P got me up at 0630.  We went out to a nice day.  No rain and temps will get to 70 this afternoon.

Ms P misses Nancy.  After I fixed her breakfast I could not find her.  She was sleeping on Nancy’s side of the bed.

I drove the Escape to Panera for an oatmeal breakfast.  After I headed downtown to St Mary’s.  Arrived at 0900 and headed right up to Nancy’s room.  

She was gone.  They took her down for more test on her left foot.  More specifically the fourth toe.

She was back at 1030.  The doctor said they would operate later this afternoon.  No specific time.

Left at 1130 for home.  Checked on Ms P and had lunch.  After lunch returned to St Mary’s.

Afternoon activities;

Because of the pending operation no food until after.  Nancy is starving.

1500 she is moved to pre operation room and prepared for the operation.

The Anesthesiologist said only mild gas needed.

1600 we met Doctor and he said the entire operation would be over in 30 minutes.  

Nancy is wheeled into operating room and 30 minutes later the operation is over.

The Doctor said everything went well.  They removed the tip of her toe.  After recovery there should be no problems walking.  Good news.

By 1700 Nancy was back in her room.  First thing she did was order food.  She will be discharged tomorrow.  No specific time.

Through this whole episode Nancy has been very stoic.  She is a rock.

At home I had dinner.  I also did a load of laundry.  Contacted the kids to say everything went well.

Turned on Netflix and watched another episode of the Chilean crime show.

The temperature was still in mid 60s when we went to bed.
