Blog time 1115 at Panera

Nancy was up at 0600 and took M P out.  It was a mild 39.  Nancy is one happy girl.  Today she can drive for the first time in 10 days.  She is driving to MVP for her Thursday swim.  She will make several stops after her swim.

After breakfast I pumped up the tires on the Cannondale and biked to the Y.  Today I took the 5 mile route. It was 39 degrees and cloudy.

The Y was empty this morning.  A trainer said he thinks folks are staying home because of the Coronavirus.

Coronavirus is having an impact on many folks lives.  Schools are closed.  Many folks are working from home.  The NBA is suspending their season.  The NCAA BB tournament is being played in empty arenas.  Of course the economy is taking a hit.

Although I think the Coronavirus epidemic is serious I have not curtailed any activities.  I have the attitude that “what will be, will be”.

I did not listen to the President’s address to the nation last night.  But this morning on Morning Joe they blasted the speech.  In times like this why can’t we work together?

Did not get home until 1300.  The morning bike ride adds about an hour to my morning schedule.  I should add an enjoyable extra hour.

I was going to look for a car this afternoon but Nancy said why don’t you take a nap first.  Good advice, slept sound for an hour.

Fixed our apple snack and finished reading the news.  At 1700 we drove to Brann’s for dinner.  Brann’s was empty.  Nancy had their prime rib special and I had a bowl of white chili.  Good food.

This evening we watched the news and Jeopardy.  We FaceTimed both Debbie and Melissa this evening.

Debbie is working from home this week.  Kind of a good thing because it gives her time to recover from a bad cold.  Dealing with problems generated by the Coronavirus dominates her work.

Melissa said the Coronavirus has not yet impacted her or AJ’s daily activities.  She is amazed that no toilet paper or bottled water is available in the LA area.  Missy said traffic on the 405 is light.

We finished the evening watching “The Kominsky Method”.  Light mist when I took Ms P out.
